We Should Take Some Tips From Our Mother Country

Europe has never really had the huge gas guzzler cars, they've always been a bit fuel efficient but on Wednesday in central London Britain's installed their first on-street charging points for electric cars. We all know that our environment needs us and Britain is taking the initiative to try to encourage drivers to stay clear from vehicles that are just too dependent on gas. This is something that is going to be very helpful because the city of Westminster has the highest levels of air pollution in the Britain. What makes it even better is that it is in their entertainment district so hopefully it will be taken advantage of by the many people who go there. They are also considering having the congestion cost increase from 8 pounds to 25 pounds for any gas guzzling cars that enter.
Unlike the leaders of our country, Britains leaders see how simple things like this can have a big impact,"putting free charging points on the street where people need them most is a simple concept which we hope will help galvanise broader appeal for electric car use," said the councillor Alan Bradley,"There have been technical hurdles to overcome, but we're confident the future lies in offering alternatives to petrol and diesel vehicles." Hopefully the United States will have a promising future that includes these alternatives.
